The CFP® certification process includes:

Education: bachelor's degree or higher from accredited college or university
CFP® board approved coursework: average time to complete coursework: 12-18 months
Experience: must complete 6,000 hours of professional experience related to financial planning process
Ethics: agree to adhere to high ethical and professional standards for the practice of financial planning, and to act as a fiduciary when providing financial advice to your client, always putting their best interests first
Exam: must pass 6 hour exam

Accredited Investment Fiduciary

The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation is a professional certification that demonstrates an advisor or other person serving as an investment fiduciary has met certain requirements to earn and maintain the credential.

The purpose of the AIF®️ designation is to assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.

Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant

ChFEBC℠ financial professionals have extensive knowledge of the following federal benefits: FERS, CSRS, TSP, FEGLI, FEHB, medicare, social security, and survivor benefits.
